He is survived by: his wife Paula (Bernard); his children, Matthew A. Deets, Jr., Gregory M. Deets (Raquel) and Crystal D. Deets; his grandchildren, Samantha Deets, Matthew A. Deets III (Renay), Mercedes Deets (Diego Cardoso), Katrina Deets and Tre'Deets; his great grandchildren, Emilee Deets, Harmony Kreb, Matthew Deets IV and Armando Cardoso; and his close friend Mike McCartney.
