He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mercer L. Gewin and Lillian L. Gewin (Jones); his son Ian Mark Gewin (Jolene) of Cosby, Missouri; his grandchildren, Shawnna Marie Kroeger (Gewin) and Joseph Ian Gewin; his former wife Mary Catherine Gewin; his cousin James O Harris (Judy) of Albuquerque; his grandchildren, Shawnna Kroeger (Justin) of Liberty and Joseph Gewin (Jennifer) of Cosby, Missouri; and his great grandchildren, Madelynne, Eleanor, Hudson and Jules Gewin.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Dementia Society of America.
