He was predeceased by : his mother Tabatha Butterfield; and his grandfather Teddy Robert Butterfield, Sr.. He is survived by : his grandmother Linda Kay Butterfield; his siblings, Dalton Butterfield, Bailey King (Mason Johnson), Kiersten Halstead, Kiera Halstead, Joshua Still, Ariah King and Adam King; and his nieces, Leianna and Kayce Johnson. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to Michael's Funeral Fund.
