He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Erickson and Geraldine Erickson (Patton); his grandparents, Ed and Ola Patton; and his aunt Pauline.

He is survived by: his wife Karen Pew; his daughter Amy Davis (Tom); and his grandson Brennan.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the South Nodaway Alumni Scholarship Fund in his name.
