Michael P. Smith Obituary

We are sad to announce that on July 7, 2023, at the age of 58, Michael P. Smith of Saint Joseph, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Patricia Smith (Ingram); his son Dalton Lee Smith; and his brother-in-law John Schellhorn. He is survived by: his father Melvin Smith; his wife Maureen Smith (DeHart); his sons, Brandon Smith, Aaron Smith (Jacqueline Johnson) and Connor Smith (Kaitlyn); his stepchildren, Amber Schubert (Charles) and Mitchell Schubert (Sara); his grandsons, Silas and Beckett Smith; and his siblings, Tony Guskos (Tina), Jennifer Taylor, Shirley Schellhorn, Stephanie Smith, Corey Smith (Sharon) and Tracie Smith-Carpentier. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends.

The family suggests memorial contributions to Central Christian Church.
