He was predeceased by: his parents, Gaylan T. Carr and Leretta P. Carr (Jacobs); his sister Connie Violett; his nephew Shane Violett; and his brothers-in-law, Dave Violett and Clayton Shepherd.
He is survived by: his children, Brandi Fields (Brad Chellew) and C. W. Carr (Charles); his grandchildren, Emerie Carr, Kylie Fields, Mylah Carr, Cooper Fields, Aurora Carr and Ryder Chellew; and his siblings, Dee Shepherd, Tom Carr (Candy), Gayle Denbow (Ronnie) and Denise Simon (Charlie). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
