As Mike departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Mike may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Mike leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Veale and Marilyn Veale; his brother Bruce Veale; and his son Jackson Veale. He is survived by: his wife Cynde Zoubek; his son Brandon Veale (Alex); his grandsons, Ben and Eli; and his sister Leigh Ann Pray (Kevin).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory (5005 Frederick Ave Suite A, St Joseph, MO 64506). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Bartlett Center, the KCMO Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association (please mention Mike's name in the memo line of your check), or to any organization serving the vulnerable in your community.
