She was predeceased by: her parents, Nannie Eastbourn (Pyles) and Galen Eastbourn; her husband John W. Nichols; her great grandchild Landon Jaros; and her daughter-in-law Maggie Nichols.
She is survived by: her children, Janet Graves (Thomas) of St. Joseph, Missouri, Steven Nichols (Kim) of Platte City, Bruce Nichols (Jennifer) of St. Joseph and John B. Nichols (Kristin) of Murphy. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory (5005 Frederick Ave, Suite A, St Joseph, MO 64506). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
