As we bid Nancy farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Nancy is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard V. Cook and Edith F. Cook (Jordan). She is survived by: her husband Stephen G. Shepherd; her children, Matthew Shepherd and Jennifer Brown; her grandchildren, Averi Shepherd, Maddie Adams and Noah Adams; and her sister Margaret Augustine.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the National MS Society.
