It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norma Jean Martin of Saint Joseph, Missouri, who passed away on September 7, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Orval Stewart and Bertha Stewart (Vandivert); and her husband J. Edward Martin. She is survived by: her children, Brian Martin (Ruthanna) and Kim Chrisman (Jeremy); her grandchildren, Sarah Miller (Gabe), Brandon Martin and Cole Chrisman; her great grandchild Malachi Miller; and her siblings, Jimmie Stewart (Barbara), Sheryl Helsel (Ed), Karen Bohot (Bobby) and Robert Melvin Stewart (Linda). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.
The family suggests memorial contributions to Patee Park Baptist Church Food Pantry or the American Diabetes Association.
