He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene F. Smith and Eva Pearl Smith (Owen); his brothers, Harold Wayne (Maxine Smith) and Terry Smith; and his sister-in-law Margaret Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie P. Smith; his brother Lee Roy Smith; and his sister-in-law Cheryl Smith of Atchison, KS. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Rushville Christian Church or charity of the donor's choice and may be sent in care of the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home, 800 Kansas Ave, Atchison, KS 66002 who is handling the arrangements.
