She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Sarah Cox and William "Otis" Cox; her husband Lowell Carter; her son David Carter; her daughters-in-law, Linda Carter and Debbie Carter; her children, Dwaine Carter (Gayla) of Tarkio, MO, Danny Carter of St Joseph, Iris Evans (Richard) of St Joseph, MO and Patricia Izer (Terry) of St Joseph; her brother Donald Cox (Linda) of Aurora, CO; and her daughter-in-law Elaine Carter of Jefferson City, MO. She was also cherished by 12 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-granddaughter.
