It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Oweeda Smith of Saint Joseph, Missouri, who passed away on April 2, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Oweeda Smith to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Jennings and Grace Mae Barragar (Stoker); her siblings, Margaret Upshaw, Millie Melander and Meredith Barragar; and her son Rodney Ebling.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Damerval (Chris), Kelley Ebling (Samantha) and Gary Smith (Elaine); her brother Everett Barragar (Marilyn); and her pet Angus. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Friends of the Animal Shelter.
