She was predeceased by: her parents, Gladys Cassity and Davey Cassity; her brother Davey Lee Cassity, Jr.; her grandson Joseph Imlay; and her brothers-in-law, Gary Nelson and Donnie Lee Adams.
She is survived by: her husband Billy Adams; her children, Scott Adams (Mendi) of Rosendale, MO, Brent Adams (Christine) of Country Club, MO and Angi Mason of Vandalia, MO; her siblings, Linda Shafer (Jerry) of Utica, MO and Michael Cassity of St. Joseph, MO; her siblings-in-law, Lori Miller (James) and Zeke Adams (Mary); her niece Stacy Nelson; her grandchildren, Jonathan Robertson, Shawn Robertson, Aiden Phillips (Danny), Sydney Adams, Corbin, Haden McDonald, Olivia Matthews and Grayson Matthews; and her great grandchildren, Jacoby and Arianna Robertson.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Rupp Funeral Home (6054 Pryor Ave, St Joseph, MO 64504). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials are requested to the Mosaic Hospice.
