She was predeceased by: her father Raymond Evans; her husband Thomas W. Brost; her mother Mary Alice Helzer Boyer (Helzer); her stepfather Gilbert Boyer; her siblings, Carolyn Wells, Connie Jean Evans, Judith McKain and Michael Evans; and her sister-in-law Marcia Evans.
She is survived by: her daughter Michelle Herring of Roach, Missouri; her grandchildren, Hannah Herring of Lenexa and Charles Herring; her siblings, Kenneth Evans (Barbara) of Conception Junction, Mark Boyer (Jeaneen) of Barnard and Barbara Cowan (Rich Ferguson) of Barnard, Missouri; and her brother-in-law Larry McKain of Gladstone, Missouri. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the Agency United Methodist Church or the Barnard United Methodist Church.
