She was predeceased by: her parents, Mildred Duffy and Lawrence Duffy; her husband Robert "Shorty" Lamar; and her siblings, Donald Duffy, Norma Lewis, Marilyn Moore and Ann Panigot.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Lamar Pease, Jennifer Lamar of Shawnee, KS, Bill Lamar and Timothy Lamar (Susan) of Roeland Park, KS; and her granddaughters, Carolyn Pease and Katie Lamar. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
