He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Atha and Alan Atha; his children, Tommy Jo Atha and Joan Elaine Campbell; the mother of his children Doris Dienstbier; his stepson Mike Brown; and his siblings, Bob Atha, Juanita Gach, Mary Shearer of Virginia, Margaret Ann Horrigan and Sister Clairerita Atha.
He is survived by: his wife Marie "Jeanette" Atha; his daughters, Carol Ann Atha Roach (Gary Mayse) of Hemple, MO and Nancy Fisher (Tim) of Union Star, MO; and his stepchildren, Bret Brown and Stacy Picou (Denis) of Beaumont, TX. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials are requested to the Saint Patrick Catholic Church.
