He is survived by: his wife Sally Higbe of St. Joseph; his sons, Sam Higbe of Gower, MO, Michael Higbe (Sharon) of St. Joseph and Ed Higbe (Dawn) of Kansas City, MO; his stepchildren, Johnny Tredway of Trenton, MO, Russell Ratliff (Annie) of St. Joseph and Sarah Jones (Greg) of Jefferson City, MO; his siblings, Melvin "Bud" Higbe of St Joseph and Fay Yonning of St. Joseph; his grandchildren, Cameron Higbe, John Michael Copeland, Kelly Wray (Gib), Maddie, Grayson, Addison Jones, Jessie, Meghan Ratliff, Elizabeth Tredway, Loriann, Mark Townsend and Dawn Elizabeth Caples; and his great grandchildren, Cierra Garrett, Brionna and Kaylee Wray. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
