He was predeceased by: his parents, Pearl (Reynolds) and Robert D. Grooms, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Vicki Lynn Clark; his sons, Jason (Sonya) and Bryan Grooms (Lacey); his grandchildren, Jazmyn, Trenten, Brayden, Talan, Jaelyn, Kolby, Kaden, Jeighda, Zaine, Jackson, Alana and Bryanna Grooms; his great grandchildren, Bentley, Braxten and Everly; his sisters, Barbara Harbord, Leona Odell and Joanna Grooms; his parents-in-law, Claudine and Arlance Clark; and his pet Diesel. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Victory Tabernacle Church.
