He was predeceased by: his parents, Tony Kemp and Norma Kemp (Woodson); his son Christopher Kemp; and his sisters, Effie Rolle and Wilma Anderson.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane Galloway; his daughter Cary Farmer (Charlie); his daughter-in-law Jackie Kemp; his grandchildren, Chase and Tyler Kemp (Jackie); and his stepgrandchildren, Caleb Farmer, Jake and Brandi Majeski. He is also survived by four great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
