He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosie Scott and Charles Scott; his daughters, Debbie Fanning and Connie Rose Scott; and his siblings, Charles Scott and Beverly Ann Phillippe.

He is survived by: his former wife Debbie Scott of St. Joseph, MO; and his children, Danielle Scott-Wilson (George Wright), Roger Scott Jr. (Tracy Enoch) and Jeremy Hadle (Valerie Merritt). He is also survived by six grandchildren, and several great grandchildren.
