He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Leon and Dorothy Ilene Stull (Hunzinger); his brothers, Robert L. Stull and Douglas Stull; and his nephew Travis Stull.

He is survived by: his spouse Donnetta Butner; his children, Roger Stull, Jr. (Carrie), Jason Stull (Brandi), Eric Butner (Ysolde) and Melissa Clay (Matt); his sister Eileen Morton (Jim); and his grandchildren, Callie Stull, Evan Stull, Ledger Stull, Landon Stull, Hailey Clay, Hannah Butner, Sophia Butner and Lukas Butner.
