He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Bayer and Mary Lou Bayer (Cannon); and his granddaughter Brandy Watts. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his children, Brian Bayer (Andrea), Ernest Bayer (Melissa), Charlotte Berry (Dean) and Rosemary Murphy (Jeremy); his siblings, James Bayer, William Bayer, David Bayer (Mary), Charles Bayer, Marvin Bayer (Lisa), Tonya Bayer (Joy) and Star Wascher (Mark); and his aunts, Madeline Herring and Mary Wohlgmuth. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and cousins.
