He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Wood and Lucille Wood (Johnson); and his brothers, Ronald Wood, Sr. and Roger Wood. He is survived by: his wife Carol Maxwell of Stanberry; his children, Russell Wood (Cindy Porter) of Gower, MO, Rhonda Carroll (Bill) of Wichita, KS and Ruth Wood (Ronnie Davidson) of Platte City, MO; and his grandsons, Quentin, Jared, Trevor Wood, Brett Carroll (Kayla) and Blake Carroll. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
