He was predeceased by: his parents, Gladys Beers and Harold Beers; and his sister Alberta Benton. He is survived by: his wife Opal "Candy" Beers; his daughters, Misty Long (Andre), Leslie Parker (Danny) and Brianne Steele (Reed) of St. Joseph, MO; his grandchildren, Brandon (Michelle), Zachary (Brie), Ethan, Jacob, Jaxton, Rowan and Emery; his great grandchildren, Theo and Beckham; and his sister Joy Hodge (Dalton).
