She was predeceased by: her parents, Leta Bosch and George Bosch; her husband Forest Thompson; her daughters, Nancy and Glenda Sue Thompson; and her son-in-law Warren Brooks Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Leslie Brooks of Saint Joseph, MO and Wayne Thompson of St. Louis, MO; her sister Catherine Cullumber of Raytown, MO; and her grandchildren, Carmen Schmidt (Stephen), Susana Spies (Andy), Marisa Westbrook (Brian) and Hannah Sloan (Richie). She is also survived by 21 great grandchildren.
