Sandy Duncan Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 6, 2025, at the age of 78, Sandy Duncan of Saint Joseph, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the echoes of fond remembrance, may a sense of peace be found, knowing that the memories held dear will continue to shape and inspire her loved ones, keeping Sandy's spirit alive in the hearts and actions of family and friends alike. While her presence may be gone, her impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
She was predeceased by: her parents, F. Donald Whalen and Dorothy Whalen (Weckerly); her stepdaughter Jennifer Duncan; and her brother Gary Whalen. She is survived by: her husband Stephen Eugene Duncan; and her children, Stephanie Seigel (David), Kelley Ross, Matthew Sparks (Shena Latcham) and Chris Clapperton (Emily). She is also survived by 27 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous other extended family members and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory (5005 Frederick Ave, Suite A, St Joseph, MO 64506). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Christ Episcopal Church (207 N 7th St, St Joseph, MO 64501).
