It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon Elaine Ferris of Saint Joseph, Missouri, who passed away on May 13, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Doralene Stewart and Thomas Stewart; her husband James Harold Ferris; and her daughter Sheryl Reed. She is survived by: her son Thomas Nigh of St. Joseph; her siblings, Lonnie Stewart, Steve Stewart and Sandra Meeks; her granddaughters, Veronica Thompson (Aaron), Victoria Reed and Georgia Reed; and her caregiver Amanda Auxier. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
Per Sharon's wishes, her body has been donated to science. Memorials are requested to AseraCare Hospice.
