With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Shelley Ashby of Saint Joseph, Missouri, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her mother Dixie L. Matthews (Silvey). She is survived by: her father Virgil E. Matthews; her husband Brent Ashby; her children, Nicole Esely, Brent Ashby, Jr. (Alejandra) and Kent Ashby (Jesse); her grandchildren, Kyleigh Ashby, Alyssa Ashby, Jordan Eldredge, Carter Esely, Chauns Ashby and Caiden Ashby; and her siblings, Deborah Pulley (Mark), Lori Snowden (Kevin), Laura McDevitt and Kyle Matthews (Allison). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
