She was predeceased by: her parents, William Luebe and Frieda Luebe (Schneider); her husband Ray Ward; her son Robert "Bob"; and her sister Marjorie Deaton.

She is survived by: her sons, William "Bill" of Wichita and Lawrence "Larry" (Connie) of St. Joseph, Missouri; and her daughter-in-law Billie Jean Ward. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many friends.
