Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Shirley Marie Kerns of Saint Joseph, Missouri, who passed away at the age of 83, on August 25, 2022. She was predeceased by: her parents, Violet Barger (Toothman) and John Barger; her husband Leonard "Sam" Kerns; and her granddaughter Brandy Henderson. She is survived by: her children, Mark Lofts (Deanne) of St. Joseph, Brenda Drennen (Jeff) of St. Joseph and Kathy Waitkoss (Shawn) of St. Joseph; her pet Willy; her grandchildren, Nikki Davis, Brandon Henderson, Kortney Ptomey (Derek), Bryson Waitkoss, Collin Lofts (Sadee) and Kylie Clark (Tyler); and her great grandchildren, Jaslynn, Brevin, Bristol and Blaklee.
Memorials are requested to the Friends of the Animal Shelter.
