We are sad to announce that, on July 21, 2021, at the age of 83, Stephen R. McAllister of Saint Joseph, Missouri, born in Bunker, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles McAllister and Edith McAllister (Jackson); and his brother Jim McAllister. He is survived by: his wife Rhoda McAllister; his sons, Stephen (Suzanne Valdez), Paul (Katie Moses) and Tom (Lemuria Citi); his grandchildren, Emma Lumpe, Mara McAllister, Fiona McAllister, Brett Carey (Cierra), Isabel Carey, Aidan McAllister, Juliette McAllister, Jackson McAllister and Sofia McAllister; his sisters, Pat Cook and Charla Pryor (Jim); and his siblings-in-law, Robert Bening (Irene) and Madalene McAllister. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Ashland United Methodist Church or the Open Door Food Kitchen.
