He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Lynn Ulmer and Edward Lee Chambers. He is survived by: his siblings, Gary Chambers (Kathy), Cherrie DeShon (Mark), Kathryn Richardson and Jennifer Callow (Eric); his nieces, Kate, Emily, Holly and Olivia; and his great-nieces, Eden, Violet, Ava, Emma and Mia.

The family suggests that donations be made in Steven's name to the Special Olympics.
