He was predeceased by: his parents, Bessie Steltenpohl and George Steltenpohl; his siblings, Helen Malone, Ruth Steltenpohl-Abbott, Hazel Stout, Ethel Polson, Betty Steltenpohl, Ada Pasley, Josephine Steltenpohl, Mabel Sollars, Arthur, Elmer and Richard; and his son Thomas E. Steltenpohl, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Diane Tucker; his brother Bill Steltenpohl (Marilyn) of St Joseph; his children, Julie Upland, Betty Carpenter, David Steltenpohl and Kris Rowe; and his nieces and nephews, Bruce Steltenpohl, Brian Steltenpohl, Frank Hurt, Ray Steltenpohl, Sherri Martin and Anne Rolland.
