He was predeceased by: his parents, Merrill Sarver and Lydia Sarver (Winegardner); his son Philip Sarver; and his parents-in-law, Wilson and Ruby Talmadge.

He is survived by: his spouse Lynna Beth Talmadge; and his grandchildren, Lydia Sarver and Jackson Sarver. He is also survived by 6 brothers and 4 sisters.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Mosaic Hospice Care.
