She was predeceased by: her parents, Elwyn H. Schottel and Esther K. Schottel (Ladage); her husband Gerald Edward Rathgeber; and her siblings, Wayne Schottel and Darline Nold.
She is survived by: her sister Norma Kay Cox; and her nephew Neal Nold. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
