He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Cora Dailey and Don Genson. He is survived by: his parents, John Coates and Bridget Genson; his siblings, Marcus Genson (Adriana), Dasha Genson, Trevor "De'Ante" Genson (Dayonna), Derek Armstrong, Jamon Hall and Tierra Graham; his grandmother Jean Genson; his aunts and uncles, Shelly Holsted (Mark) and De'Ante; his niece Ilianna; his cousin Alex Holsted; and his aunt Theresa Genson. He is also survived by numerous extended family and friends.

Flowers are appreciated and for those wishing to make a contribution, the family requests they be made to the funeral home to defray expenses.
