She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Stigge and Mildred Stigge (Niemann); and her brother Merlin Stigge. She is survived by: her brothers, Vernon Stigge (Cathy) and Larry Stigge; her children, Kathy Patron (Ricardo), Michael Barnes (Karen), Brenda Barnes Wickham and Debra Hopkins (Brian); her grandchildren, Mika Patron, Nathan Patron (Shelby), Matthew Patron, Neal Patron, Sarah DeGarmo (Leighton), Austin Barnes (Abigail), Isaac Barnes, Kimberly Rice (Brenton), Lancer Barnes (Desiree), Arturo Barnes, Ericko Barnes, Joshua Barnes, Melvin Barnes, Gerard Barnes, Catherine Barnes, Christopher Barnes, Jenalyn Barnes, Grace Barnes, Lauren Thomas (Chad), Lindsey Phillips (Peter), Lia Wickham, Van Hopkins, Hailey Hopkins and Cole Hopkins; and her great grandchildren, Levi DeGarmo, Wyatt DeGarmo, Moses DeGarmo, Ezekiel Barnes, Otho Barnes III, Orlin Barnes, Josephine Barnes, Kennedy Thomas, Ford Thomas, William Phillips and Theodore Phillips. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great- nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory (5005 Frederick Ave Suite A, St Joseph, MO 64506). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Association.
