Verlin L. Eaton Obituary
Verlin Lamaster Eaton was born in Maysville, Missouri on December 14, 1940 to Albert Lamaster and Daisy Juanita (Murphy) Eaton. Verlin grew up on the family farm in Maysville with his brothers and sister.
On January 25, 1963 he married Delores Virginia Hester. Out of this union a son was born, Lance Eaton.
Verlin served in the U.S. Army from 1966 to 1968. He worked for the City of Maysville, owned and operated the Conoco service station, and retired as an over-the-road truck driver.
Verlin passed away on Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at his St. Joseph home.
Survivors include his son, Lance; brothers, Gary and wife Pat of Forest City, Missouri, and Terry Eaton of Maysville; nephews, Jim (April) Eaton and Austin Eaton; nieces, Joy Beers, Janesca Proctor, Heather Eaton, and Joyce Plummer; and his dog, Duke, who was his pride and joy.
Verlin is now reunited in Heaven with his wife Delores; his parents; brother, Eric Eaton; sister, Marjorie Moody; and two nieces, Linda Scroggins and Julie Eaton.
Funeral services: Friday, July 7, 2023, 11:00 am, Chamberlain Funeral Home, Oregon. Family will greet friends one hour prior to services. Inurnment: Oak Lawn Cemetery, Maysville, Mo.
