She was predeceased by: her parents, Vera Smith and Guy Smith; her daughter Brenda Baines; her granddaughters, Amanda Snethen and Jessica Alsbury; and her siblings, Jack Smith, Vicky Townsend and Ruby Stagner.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Hanken (Roger) of St. Joseph, Laura Nutt (Ken) of St. Joseph and James Nutt (Annette) of Weston, MO; her siblings, Dennis Smith, Robert "Butch" Smith, Terry Smith (Vicky) and Kay Smith; her son-in-law Jack Baines; and her grandchildren, Andrea Frank (Rich), Holly Odowd (Chris), Jamie Snethen (Vince), Shannon Crampton, Jana Helfery (Larry) and Joshua Alsbury (Tiffany). She is also survived by 19 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
