It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vesper Blaine Oswald of Saint Joseph, Missouri, born in Beaver Crossing, Nebraska, who passed away on August 31, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Oswald and Mabel Oswald; and his siblings, Darlene, Jeannine and Ron.

He is survived by: his wife Jan; his sons, Jim (Julie), Jay (Heather) and Rich (Torrie); his grandchildren, Jill (Cameron), Jenna, Josh, Charles (Sierra), Luke, Gwendolyn, Addie and Grant; and his great grandchildren, Evie and Tatum.
