She was predeceased by: her parents, Truman Sample and Violet (Parker); her former husbands, William Saunders and Charles Robinson, Sr.; her husband Louie Springs; and her brother Estel Sample.
She is survived by: her children, William Saunders, Sr. (Teresa), Mickey Saunders, Tammy King, Esther Fattig (James), Starla Balabon, Penny Lynann Johnson (Darren), Charles Robinson (Tina) and Angel Stagner (Charles); her stepdaughter Debra Culver (Tim); and her siblings, Wayne Sample, Sr., Larry Sample (Mary), Ernest Parker (Tammy), Mercedes Holbert and Anita Helton (Tom).
