He is survived by: his wife Sylvia; his children, Chris Hays (Angie) and Wendy Hays; his stepdaughter Carolyn Herring; his grandchildren, Dakota, Harmony, Cheyenne, Gunner, Cale, Penelope, Joslynn and Buck; his siblings, Deb Lantau (Bill) and Bill Hays (Loretta); and his sister-in-law Bernice Hays. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
