It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Wayne Dee Ezzell of Saint Joseph, Missouri, who passed away on March 19, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Nina Ezzell and Ted Ezzell; his daughter Theresa Ezzell-Morse; his siblings, Ernest, Robert, Leroy, Charley, Jack, Don Ezzell, Josephine Bruce, Shirley Curtis, Virginia Majeski, Betty Baur and Nancy Matthews; and his son-in-law Eddie Hudson.

He is survived by: his wife Kay Ezzell; his children, Lorrie Hudson of St. Joseph, Julie Dee Elliott (Randy) of Savannah, MO and Zachary Wayne Ezzell (Dawn) of St. Joseph; his grandchildren, Shelbey Furbee (Andrew), Lynsey Silvey (Alec), Ben Elliott (Kristina), Ashlee Cornelius (Lance), Hannah Delaney (Matt), Mackenzie Dinning, Kaitlyn Myers (Tyler), Hunter Ezzell (Maddie), Cydney Byous (Nate), Carley Ezzell, Sarah Myers (Mike), Samantha Reynolds (Tyler) and Jenni Cline; his friends, Jerry Roach of Grant City and Jerry Ward of St. Joseph; his uncles, Mom (Virginia Majeski) and Wayne; and his aunt Kay. He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials are requested to the New Home Baptist Church.
