With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Glen Simpson of Saint Joseph, Missouri, born in Mercer, Missouri, who passed away on July 17, 2023 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty Simpson and John Simpson; and his sisters, Nancy O'Rear and Telpha Heuman. He is survived by: his wife Susan Simpson; his children, Becky Martin (Kori) of Raymore, MO, Michael Simpson of Kansas City, MO and Meaghan Simpson of St. Joseph; his stepchildren, Steve Peterman (Cathy) of St. Joseph, Michelle Peterman of St. Joseph, Jerry Bascue (Dina) of Gower, MO and Tammy Bascue of St. Joseph; and his siblings, Benny, Randy, Alan Simpson and Nila Horne. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.
