It is with sadness that the passing of William Leroy Mead Jr. (Saint Joseph, Missouri) is shared. William, born on October 14, 1936, passed away on May 29, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
William will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Leroy and Laura Price Mead. He is survived by: his wife Marian; his sister Sue Duke (David); his children, Lea Ann Peetz (Lonnie) and Douglas Mead (Barbara); and his grandchildren, Alex and Lauren. He is also survived by 4 nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Francis Street First United Methodist Church, St. Paul United Methodist or Mosaic Life Care Hospice.
