Hayes of Saint Joseph, Missouri, born in Magee, Mississippi, who passed away on January 26, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Hayes and Aline Hayes (Lee); his son Tony Grubbs; and his sister Anna Mae Keys. He is survived by: his wife Gayla Hayes; his children, J. R. Boyd and Mandi Rocha (Josh); his grandchildren, Shanitra Bolden, Elija Farr, Kaden Benard, Savion Bernard, Marah and Neiko Rocha; and his great grandchildren, Ayden Bolden and Kylo Bernard. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
