She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Thompson and Varie Baker Thompson; her husband Richard "Pete" VanHorn (Blalock); and her grandson Nathaniel Deems. She is survived by: her children, Dallas (Karol VanHorn), Kelly (Daniel Deems), Shannon (Tina VanHorn) and Angela VanHorn of Butler, MO.; her grandchildren, Corey, Andrea VanHorn, Dalton, Cody and Grant VanHorn; and her great grandchild Georgia Mae VanHorn.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Mullinax Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. (10 S High St, Butler, MO 64730). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers, to Fairview Cemetery.
