She was predeceased by: her parents, John Burford and Isabelle Burford. She is survived by: her husband David L. Hawkins Jr.; her children, JoAnne Hawkins Slankard and John Hawkins; her grandsons, Jacob Slankard, Jonah Hawkins and Owen Hawkins; and her sister Marion Weiss.
