He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Magafas and Marie Magafas (Goffin); and his sibling Byron Magafas (Darlene). He is survived by: his stepchildren, Kelly Gerau (late Daniel), Kerry Geiger (Steve) and Colleen Dalton (James); his grandsons, Bryan Gerau (Darby), Kevin Gerau, Derek Dalton and Max Dalton; his great grandchildren, Daniel Gerau and Thomas Gerau; and his sibling's children, Odessa Magafas and Arianna Magafas.
